Questions & Answers

I want to update my information, or I've decided that the Empire isn't for me. Who do I contact?

How do I take a screenshot?

Screenshot-taking procedures vary from game to game. Instructions on how to to take screenshots of GE-supported games can be found in the Screenshot guide.

I own more than one GE-supported platform. Can I join more than once?

Typically, you won't need to. Your primary platform simply indicates your "preferred" or "most-liked" platform. All officers are free to participate with any of their own Division's supported platforms at any time. It is only when you wish to participate in the activities of another Division that you may need to create a second character. (For example, if you are an Imperial Navy officer but also own Jedi Knight and wish to participate in the operations of the Imperial Army, then you are welcome to create a second character within the Army for this purpose.)

As a Naval Cadet, will my floppy disk or Macintosh version of TIE Fighter work?

Yes, you can successfully complete your training and become an Imperial Navy officer with the floppy disk or Macintosh version of TIE Fighter. However, our custom TIE missions are built for the TIE95 (Windows 95) version of TIE Fighter. Thus, not all of them may work with your copy of TIE Fighter.

As a Naval Cadet, can I change my primary platform to Balance of Power (BoP)?

No. Although BoP is fully supported by the Imperial Navy, it is regarded as an "extension" of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (XvT), not an independent game platform. If BoP is your preference, your primary platform should be XvT.

As a Private, can I change my primary platform to Mysteries of the Sith (MotS)?

No. Although MotS is fully supported by the Imperial Army, it is regarded as an "extension" of Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight (JK), not an independent game platform. If MotS is your preference, your primary platform should be JK.
